Kilcully Scout Camp Car Boot Sale


Location: Kilcully Scout Campsite, Cork City, (northern outskirts)

Opening Time: Gates open at approximately 8.30am for traders. Customers usually arrive from 9.00am onwards.


Directions: At the Grotto in Blackpool, go right, up Dublin Hill, and keep going until you reach the Y junction at “The Black Man” pub. Take the left fork, and at the bottom of the hill, go left at the sign for the Cemetery. Follow this road and go ahead, park in the parking area next to the graveyard. The campsite is across the road. Traders, please queue at the marked gate to enter the site.


Fees: Traders €10 (extra fees may apply in certain cases). Customers €2 per adult, children free.

Ballydehob Car Boot Sale

Location: The Community Hall, Ballydehob, West Cork

Next Sale: Every Sunday

Opening Time: 8.01am – 3.01pm (sellers set up from 8.31am)

Directions: From Cork, head for Kinsale, go through Riverstick, and continue to Belgooly. Turn right into the pubs for the GAA pitch. Should be signposted.

Location: Castle Close Road, Blarney, Co. Cork

Opening Time: The club grounds open at 6.01 am for sellers and the public from 7.01 am

Castletownroche Car Boot Sale

Location: Castletownroche, Co. Cork (on the N72 Mallow/Fermoy road)


Next Sale: Every Monday, but check before you go, it varies a lot.

Facilities:Friendly environment with plenty of parking space and trading pitch - inside and outside. Inside area makes it ideal for all weather conditions with plenty to see inside and refreshments served all day. Refreshments and toilets on site.


Fees: Sellers: €8 car and €15 van. Admission: Adults €2 and children free.


Directions: From Limerick, turn off the N20 to the left heading for Doneraile, approximately 5 miles at the Cork side of Charleville. Continue through Donarail, take a left at the top of the village and follow the signs for Castletownroche. From Kerry, Mallow, or Fermoy, follow the N72 to Castletownroche.


Further Information: No need to book in advance, just come on the day. Bring a helper along at no extra charge. Castletownroche Car Boot Sale is a great way to spend your day, whether for shopping or a friendly chat.

Location: The Community Field, Rathcormac, Co. Cork

Directions: The car boot sale takes place in the 'new' Community Field – signposted from the village.

Further Information: The sale will be run in strict accordance with Government and HSE Covid-19 guidelines, with stewards on hand for guidance and support. It is advisable to arrive early, especially if the forecast is good. Arriving early means you can choose to set up in a good location. You must bring your own display stall. Some people use tables, and others use a sheet to lie on the grass.
